These were a gift.
After a few weeks in water, they grew roots. Roots appear faster when succulent cuttings are in water.
Today I planted these cuttings in a mixture of soil and rocks (I used the store-bought cactus mix).
I wanted to give them sandy soil for better drainage, but coarse silica sand is hard to find on O'ahu unless you use the germy beach kind. (Four below were potted earlier with a sandy peat moss mix and topped off with sand.)
On the west-facing window ledge, they soak up the afternoon sun. Life doesn't suck when you have succs.
