The living room has a fresh face.
Yesterday I arranged the plants to diminish the electronics. On the left are two snake plants, one hiding tradescantia tricolor, a potted monstera, and one growing in water. In the center is a terrarium. On the right, snake plant cuttings sit in water to root next to fresh anthuriums and a kupukupu fern.
I love how these anthuriums contrast the greenery and add a happy, tropical vibe.
We went with a mid-century modern table from Amazon.com ($88.00) and orange and teal industrial stools from Ross ($17.95 each). The round table fits well in the small space and its legs match the laminate floor. Orange and teal are fun accent colors that informalize and modernize the room.
This moss terrarium where dinosaurs roam is another teal detail.
The entire space is airy and filled with natural light (especially great for these succulents!).
This hallway leads to the kitchen on the right and the bedroom straight ahead.
This spider plant next to the kitchen livens an otherwise blank space.
And the peace lily on the opposite wall awaits the comfy couch (we are hunting for) and maybe an area rug.
It's been a few weeks since we moved in, and little by little our design is coming together.
